About PEMS
PEMS will remove the requirement of the use of paper forms and will automate and streamline the National Provider Identifier (NPI) enrollment.

The new system will be the single tool for:

  • Enrollment
  • Re-Enrollment
  • Revalidation
  • Maintenance requests (maintaining/updating provider enrolment record information).

Once implemented, PEMS will replace both Provider Enrollment on the Portal (PEP) and the Provider Information Management System (PIMS).
